Kaho Nakamura

I passed a good part of my day painting on a canvas. what a great moment to listen and learn about an artist.

For those who follow me since may 2020 will remember that I discover here and got some interest for his arts. So, Who is Kaho Nakamura? It's quite difficult to found some information on her since she's from Japan and most of the website I found on her was in kanji and google translate it into giberish or the website is simply broken.

I found that's she's a shy personality and don't like self promotion according to some website. Apparently, the choice of becoming a musical artist (i can't remember a better word for that) came late in his life. I have no information about her stories, only that she's from Kyoto Japanese.

Here is a quick self presentation of herself

This said, I call her an artist for a reason. mostly all videos that i found of her are incredible performance. It's not like some other signer who stand in front of a microphone with or without a guitare. She's  surrounded with musicians and music instruments and when she don't, the videos clip are fascinating to watch. She really amaze me.

I's the main Character. 6 mars 2020.
I might not understand the lyrics, but once the title is translated, I get an impression that is a self empowering song in some way. The song in itself is really inspiring, giving urban pop vibe while staying in her unique way to make music. As I understand, the song have been recently used by Apple for an Add, giving her a boost of visibility. Overall, it's a great song.

I Like It, with Lainy J. Groove. 2017
This song is aptly named. It have this groovy feeling, close to the pop or RnB from the 90's without being too heavy. She's well supported by the band, her voice fit so well with the bass the flute. Everything is well dosed in it.

Wasureppoi Tenshi/ Sono Inochi, live at SING US. 2019
Not gonna lie here, seeing her surround with instrument and crowd is visually stunning ans seeing them sing with her is awesome. That's the kind of event I want to go.

And what a peculiar band! A Sax, a double bass, a beatboxer, a battery, another guy with percussion, a guitar, an another women playing keyboard wit her... it's simply great!

The 2 songs are pretty good too. I understand why they choose them, especially the second one, it's really unifying everyone at the end.
